Kat is an associate with Kastner Ko LLP. Their practice includes employment, labour, civil litigation, human rights, and state accountability matters.

Kat assists employees and employers in navigating all aspects of the employment relationship, including wrongful dismissal, harassment, and human rights claims.

Before joining the firm, Kat worked as litigation counsel with Ontario’s Ministry of Labour, conducting regulatory prosecutions, participating in coroner’s inquests, and regularly appearing before the Ontario Labour Relations Board. Kat also served as counsel with Tribunals Ontario, representing multiple tribunals, including the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario, in judicial reviews and statutory appeals.

Kat holds a J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School and a Master’s in Human Geography from the University of Toronto.
